Training information
The format for our training sessions provides a variety of experiences, including some of the following:
- An inside look at a Child Care Center with a narrated tour (1 hour)
- Child Development class (2 hours)
- Essential Components for Supervision in Child Care Centers (2 hours)
- Requirements for Rule 3 in Child Care Centers
- Infant and Child CPR and First Aid class (4 hours)
- Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Syndrome class (1 hour)
- Abusive Head Trauma class (1 hour)
- Health and Safety Pre-Service for Centers (4 hours)
- Learn about scholarships, educational opportunities, and career advancement (1/2 hour)
Periodically, evening classes may be held. These will be Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00pm-9:00pm.
